Counter-Notification
If you believe your content was removed in error, you may submit a counter-notification containing:
- Your physical or electronic signature
- Identification of the removed material and its previous location
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed by mistake
- Your name, address, and phone number
- Consent to the jurisdiction of your local federal court
- Agreement to accept service of process from the complainant
Process Timeline
- Receipt: We acknowledge DMCA notices within 1-2 business days
- Review: Valid notices are processed within 3-5 business days
- Removal: Infringing content is removed promptly upon verification
- Notification: The user who posted the content is notified
- Counter-Notice: 10-14 business days to submit counter-notification
- Restoration: If no lawsuit filed, content may be restored after 14 days
Repeat Infringer Policy
In accordance with the DMCA, we will terminate accounts of users who are repeat infringers. We track and act on multiple valid DMCA complaints against the same user.
Good Faith Requirement
Please note that under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing, or that material was removed by mistake, may be subject to liability for damages, including costs and attorneys' fees.
Wedding Photography Notice
We understand that wedding photography copyrights can be complex. Before uploading photos to your wedding gallery or website:
- Check your photographer's contract for usage rights
- Request written permission if your contract doesn't cover online use
- Credit your photographer when possible
- Do not upload watermarked proofs without permission
